A talented actor or other such artist who’s recently grabbed my attention:
John Pollono

John Pollono came to my attention a few months ago when I saw what was the best piece of theatre I’ve seen in years. He not only wrote the play – Small Engine Repair – but starred in it, along with the amazing Jon Bernthal and Michael Redfield. Now this is my kind of theatre – gritty, real, stark, surprising, funny, in your face… a little tush action to boot…
John is unbelievably talented. A smart, authentic, soulful writer and a riveting, sexy performer. I’m very excited to see where he’s headed… and hopefully have the privilege of working with him someday.
